Jimmy Butler is a top 10 player in the NBA

The consistent improvement Butler has demonstrated throughout his entire basketball career has been remarkable. He's transitioned from a community college ball player, to a contributor on a solid DI squad, to a near second-round NBA draft pick, to a position as arguably the best shooting guard in the world's premier basketball league.

He's top 12 in the league in scoring on above average efficiency, always defends the opponent's best perimeter player, and has recently stepped up his play to another level, becoming the leader of the Bulls and dominating in the clutch. He's outplayed his rival Paul George twice, broken an Bulls scoring record, and is still visibly improving.

Top 10 players in the NBA as of now, IMO:

You don't become a Top 10 player on the basis of a week long hot streak. No one's calling DeRozan a Top 10 player and he's been just as good recently.

Harden, Westbrook, George, Chris Paul, Cousins, Kawhi, LeBron, KD, Curry, Griffin, Draymond, Klay, Davis, Lowry, Melo, LMA are all better. He's definitely in the Top 20 and climbing though.

I need to see more first. I mean at least have the highest PER on your own team.
