Default What next?

Del Negro, Rose... now it's time for Paxson to make some moves. Sign and trade Deng and/or Gordon, trade Kirk Hinrich, try and trade anyone (besides Rose) to get some all-star players. Build around Rose. He's the ONLY player who should be "untouchable" right now. If the right deal comes along... Hinrich, Thomas, Deng, Gooden, Hughes, Noah, Gray, Gordon, Duhon, Nocioni, Sefolosha, etc. should all be traded.

Keep both Deng and Gordon unless you can get better people and i dont see anyone better without spending a boat load of money. Id lobby to trade hughes and hinrich first. We need a SG that can hit 3's and slash to the basket because Deng doesnt do either of those. Gordon is your leading scorer so unless u can get great value u shouldnt even think about trading him. Gooden is a decent big man with size decent post moves and strength.

I agree with all that...

Rose, Deng, and Gordon are all untouchable unless Pax can get a hell of a deal.

The Clips want Ben Gordon so the sign and trade rumors for maggette might just work out for the Bulls considering he opt-ed out and here's hoping for some maggette-o's

The fact Ben Gordon has been our leading scorer demonstrates the Bulls' struggles. His scoring statistics are deceptive because he can light a team up for 30+ points one night and be a non factor the next; not to mention he is only effective off the bench, can't run the point, nor can he play defense.

Don't expect a major increase in points from the Bulls' current roster unless someone has a breakout season. I am happy with the Rose pick, but a roster with Beasley on it looks more dangerous.

I have not heard this one yet, but if this is true...I would do it in a heartbeat. I would much rather take my chances with Maggette than Gordon.

As would I, but the Clippers just drafted Eric Gordon, so why would they want Ben? The Bulls problem right now is that all the guys they want to trade have large salaries, and it is hard to find trade partners for guys that are average or above average with big salaries. Jermaine O'Neal was a good opportunity to make a 2-for-1 deal, which is what we need to do, but that deal included a lot of risk and the assumption that O'Neal regained his All-Star form. I'm not sure of many other underacheiving players in the league that make around $20 million and are on the trading block, so it looks like we don't have many options.
