Default Knicks sign rookie Landry Fields

Fields, 6-7, 210-pounds, played four seasons for Stanford University and averaged 22.0 points and 8.8 rebounds as a senior in 2009-10. As All Pac-10 First Team and Pac-10 All-Academic First Team selections, the Long Beach, CA native led the Pac-10 and finished eighth in the nation in scoring as a senior in 2009-10. In 2010 NBA Summer League play in Las Vegas, Fields averaged a team-high 15.6 points and added 4.8 rebounds, 1.60 steals and 25.9 minutes in five games as a member of the Knicks entry.

Our future is happening now. I really appreciate what Mr Donnie Walsh has done for the Knick organization. Can we clone this man?

Man, I can't wait for this season.

Wrong.

I wanted them to draft Jarvis Varnado and Lance Stephenson. Lance has already made a bone-headed offcourt decision but our second round signings would have gone undrafted anyways.

I hope I'm not including in the "you guys" pool.I definitely never said we should draft Jerome Jordan.Anyone who reads my post know I really didnt care who we got. It's a 2nd round pick.I wouldnt have minded taking Lance but I told everyone he'd get in trouble.I just didnt think it would be this soon. I woulda took a chance on Desean Butler.Sure he had a horrific injury but if he can somehow heal, you have a guy who woulda been a sure lottery pick otherwise.Actually,if it were up to me,I woulda traded the picks and either got into the 1st round or got a player.

I can't be in the "you guys" column either.

I usually stay very quiet when talking about the draft, especially when it's 2nd round picks.

Cause D'Antoni is a moron that's why. As if he has anything to lose by playing young talent.

i don't think varnado would get any pt with us acquiring mozguv, turriaf, Randolph and Amare.
