Default Harrington Back

Bobcats' Harrington cleared for practice

The Bobcats finally got some good news, injury-wise:

Power forward Othella Harrington has been cleared medically for full participation in practice. He's recovering from arthroscopic surgery on his left knee.

Assuming there are no setbacks, such as severe swelling following heavy practice, it's now up to Harrington to determine when he feels well enough to play. So it's possible he could be activated either for the season-opener Friday against the Milwaukee Bucks or perhaps Sunday at the Miami Heat.

Opinions?

Harrington is 6-9, the only reason he's listed as a center is because he's a bit pudgy. It's obvious that V doesn't want a small lineup so I doubt Harrington would start at PF.

So how/where should Harrington be played? Is it too late already to use him as trade bait this season if he stays healthy and plays a strong game? Or is he a realistic back-up for Brezec?

Harrington would be a filler in a trade if anything. He probably won't play alot, just long enough for Okafor and Davidson to catch their breath.

Cut him and sign DJ Mbenga. Just waived by Dallas. He recently had 5 rebounds and 2 blocks in 12 minutes in a preseason game.
