Default Your Shopping Spree

So my Mom called me a few days and told me she had accrued a bunch of American Express rewards points and I could exchange them for whatever I wanted (thanks Mom). The total was over 200k points which is worth roughly 1,500 real dollars if you were to cash them out. After browsing their rewards catalog I decided I would exchange the points for credit on Amazon. Turns out for whatever reason you can no longer do that so I exchanged them for Amex gift cards which I then in turn used on Amazon. I had a roughly 1,500 dollar shopping spree over the past few days which was pretty fun.

Hypothetical: Say someone hands you 10k and you had to spend it all within a 24 hour period (much easier than it sounds)...Feel free to buy anything from women, drugs, food, to clothes. What's your day looking like?

lol I really don't have many other needs as a college student. Traveling is difficult without a car and that's really the only thing I see myself constantly thinking would be all too convenient.

I'd put it in stocks and bonds or I'd buy land.

This old guy has accrued all his fun stuff at the expense of practicality. I have grow lights, vintage road bikes, vintage office desk and chairs, classic out of print books, more music than i ccould listen to in a lifetime, tv's, killer computer, game consoles, several guitars, mics, and music equipment...most my hobbies are fulfilled!

I guess I would travel with it.

I would buy:

Various pieces of nice home furniture/ decor (art prints, movie posters etc.)
various very luxirous and stylish winter coats
a vast array of media (films,albums I don't own)
a whole rack of fitted hats (maybe like 20-30)
pairs of designer jeans of a comfortable fit...assorted washes and denims
splurge on uniquely designed and Pop culture-ish tee shirts
one or two really nice watches
down payment on remaining tattoo ideas (24 hours to spend, tats take time)
5 or so pairs of fresh kicks
pick up some classic literature not owned or read (which is tons), sick editions

half pound of some good herbal essences to wash the soul

I'd pay off my debts then probably build a state of the art gaming PC: quad-core, dual video cards, liquid cooling, 30" HD monitor, the works. Also, a PS3, with a gaming chair + steering wheel with a clutch for GT5.

Another choice would be to spruce up my ride. Buy a new tranny, new engine. Do a little bit of body work, new paint job, completely new interior. Basically make it like new again. Maybe a supercharger, too.

unpractical hypothetical (reality would be buy stock, pay debt, ect):

wake up and go rent a Lambo...

Has to be the Murci too...no scissor doors = little ***** Lambo, lol

then take it too the track for a few hours to see what it can do without killing myself...that way later I won't feel the need to race it all over the highway...and it would just be a ton of fun...

gonna guess that will run around $500-$1000 for the day

THEN...go buy a pimp ass suit...maybe a fur coat for the fcuk of it...lol

^^^ oh that looks so amazingly douchy that it would be PERFECT...

decent suit and coat...looking around $3k

THEN....it is time to shop for prostitues...cause I am not gonna want to beat around the bush on this day....high priced hookers...2 of them...$2k for the night...

THEN...

yeah I would relapse... ....$500 on champagne...

so, now that I am drunk time to ditch the lambo...

maybach and driver for one night $1k

then bar hop...

strip club hop...

throw money around like a drunk idiot....all the while having a great time and getting others hammered...

go home to high priced hookers...maybe have some change in the morning...
