Re: 2013-2014 Observation Deck
Duke's perimeter players are playing really well. They had no business being in the game once Parker and Jefferson fouled out. But then you get someone like Thornton hitting big shots. Duke doesn't have a single competent player over 6'8 to begin with.

They were impressive, but this is pretty clearly a live and die by 3 team. Same formula as all their teams that flamed our early in the tournament not that long ago. I doubt they are a threat unless Parker goes completely off.

Pretty much. Parker and Hood are good dynamic offensive players but they will also be stuck covering bigger players at times which will wear them down. If Duke could get even 10-12 half-decent minutes out of Plumlee that would be huge. But he's a stiff.

So what is Ennis' NBA Comparison?
He looked like Stephen Curry physically and plays just like him, minus his jumpshot.

Embiid played soft out there today. Sad to see
Right now, Wiggins is a. Bit soft.

Duke got hosed by Karl Hess so hard against Syracyse
Foul out the most efficient players on flops, check
Missed call on game winning dunk, check

I didn't get to watch the game but I saw a replay of the block in slow motion, it looked clean.

The arm contact and ball contact was bang-bang, imo. Also the Thornton shove at the end of OT was a blatant flagrant.

Oklahoma State continues their tailspin. Loses in 2OT at home to Iowa State. Hell of a game.

I feel like if you get your hand on the ball, that's all that should matter. Kind of like if you get dunked on, they won't call a charge.
