Posterize, didn't you do a "Play/Dunk of the Week" thread? I have a candidate if you still do that.

Lavoy Allen needs 189 rebounds to become Temple's all-time rebounding leader. That's like 6 a game.

Steve Lavin right back to being a top recruiter. Signed three 4* players today for '11 and got a verbal from one more.

    D'Angelo Harrison (41)
    Jakarr Sampson (44)
    Maurice Harkless (45)
    Dominique Pointer (81)

St. John's hasn't even won 20 games in a season since '02-03 but Lavin seems to have them headed in the right direction.

Maryland barely edges out College of Charleston 75-74 after some terrible, terrible FT shooting (5-18). A Freshman, Pe'Shon Howard, hit the game-winner with about 5 seconds left. This year looks to be a struggle.

There's a difference between losing by one basket and losing by 15, as well as a difference in talent level between last year's Syracuse team and Tennessee.

Bruce Pearl is fine. There is no hot seat. Tennessee will be fine. They will be beasts of the east.

    1/22/11 - Tennessee @ UConn.

UConn should rape in that game. This year's UConn > last year's UConn.

Well, it seems to be the teams' goal in the Big East is to further devaluate the Big East football brand. Wouldn't be spurprised to see UConn win.

True. Big East football is beyond awful. Going to a BCS game would be nice for recruiting recognition and $$$ but the national embarassment would be painful. It looks like Pitt has the best shot of winning the Big East.
