Dang. 5:00 am?? You are dedicated? I would have just waited until I read the paper or something.

Yeah, we gotta improve from the free throw line. Thabeet was out of this world! Plus, on offense he looked pretty good as well. One time he had a nice spot up jumper...impressive.

Good game, Irish fans. Up next......PITT

We got a few days off, so hopefully we can use it to rest and get geeked up for this battle against Pitt and get our minds ready for the Big East tournament.

    Time for predictions....
    UConn tops Pitt 70-67.

    UConn top 3 scorers:
    Price-29
    Adrien-18
    Thabeet-12

    Top 3 rebounders:
    Thabeet-17
    Adrien-14
    Robinson-11

    Top 3 blockers:
    Thabeet:10
    Adrien:2
    Robinson:2

Thabeet with the 12/17/10 stuff, its Blair's turn to get in foul trouble.

Those are some pretty exaggeratted stats lol. No way Pitt gets abused on the boards like that.

Watch out for Kemba Walker in this game. Last time, he completely made Levance Fields his b*** until the last 2 minutes of the game (when Austrie was on him) when Fields had two threes and two free throws. Fields is too slow to get by Walker, and Walkers defensive pressure really bothered Fields from penetrating and making good passes.

Kemba really did impress me the first game. He played great one on one defense but made a few costly errors making rotations near the end like when Jermaine Dixon was left wide open for 3 because Walker didn't rotate. He definitely is a bad match-up for Fields though.

I will predict the game will go to OT and that either CT or Pitt will win !

Those ESPN Boards make you lose brain cells. There is some idiot saying the Big Ten is better than the Big East. He is saying the Big Ten's second best team is better than the Big East 3-10. So that includes Pitt, Marquette, Villanova, etc.

Oh well. Let the Committee put 8 Big Ten teams in our bracket if they want to, that would be a cake walk to the Final Four.

The only Big Ten team that would succeed in the Big East is Michigan State. After that I could only see Illinois being around the level of Syracuse.

Yeah, I agree. Since I live in Big Ten country, I get to see Michigan State a lot...and they could play both ways; physical and uptempo.

And we got beat down again!! Why can't we handle Pitt? I did not see the game today, so I am forced to listen to 2nd hand information. Was sit that bad? How did Thabeet look? Did he hold his own this time or got abused like thet last time?

    Go, UConn!!

Well , after that second loss to Pitt , I'm beginning to think they can't go all the way without Dyson . Just not enough depth . Kemba doing a good job as a freshman but he's not Jerome yet . Depending on the draw they might get to the Elite 8 , but I wouldn't bet the house on it .

    Big East first Team: Thabeet
    Second team: Price
    Third Team: Adrien
    Rookie Team: Walker
    DPOY: Thabeet

Jamaal Coombs also dropped 41/12 a couple of nights ago. I'm really starting to think he is going to end up a big time McD's All-American snub. His past four games I'm pretty sure he dropped 24,28,33, and 41.

Here is my Big East Tourney predictions:
    Round 1:
    Cincinnati beats DePaul
    St.Johns beats Georgetown
    Notre Dame beats Rutgers
    Seton Hall beats South Florida

    Round 2:
    Cincinnati beats Providence
    Marquette beats St.Johns
    West Virginia beats Notre Dame
    Syracuse beats Seton Hall

    Round 3:
    Louisville beats Cincinnati
    Marquette beats Villanova
    Pitt beats West Virginia
    UConn beats Syracuse

    Round 4:
    Louisville beats Marquette
    UConn beats Pitt (finally)

    Championship:
    UConn beats Lousville 75-69

So I'm guessing that all the teams that made it to round 3 will make it into the big dance.

Kudos to Price, Adrien, Walker, and Thabeet.

Dang. Coombs dropping points like that?

Also, mad props to the UConn ladies. They go for the Big East Tournament title tonight against Louisville.

    Good luck, ladies
