OT: anyone know of a way to import songs from your ipod to computer?
thanks. I heard of a program one time... but it was awhile ago and I didn't need it then.

geewiz do you mean EXPORT from ipod to computer or IMPORT from computer on to ipod?
Isnt there a way to just play your songs from your ipod while plugged into the USB cable and then just save them?

I use SharePod. It actually stores on the iPod itself so you can use it wherever you go. For example, if you went to a friend's house and they had some music you wanted. Just plug in and get it...or give them some of yours.

Go to Apple's website, They should have a store locator if you don't know one near ya. Go to their store and ask to get it fixed.

Pod Util
Theres a program called Pod utility that lets you do it. It's small, easy to use, and you can store it on your ipod so you can use it with any computer.
