He becomes the 11th HEAT rookie to be named to an All-Rookie Team and the sixth to earn Second Team honors. He finished with 151 points, including 44 First Team votes.

Winslow appeared in a team-leading 78 games this season, becoming just the fifth Miami rookie to lead the HEAT in games played for a single-season, and averaged 6.4 points, 5.2 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 28.6 minutes while shooting 42.2 percent from the field. He capped the season with 32 made three-point field goals and 26 blocks, becoming just the fourth HEAT rookie to hit at least those totals. He teamed with Hassan Whiteside to become the first pair of teammates in team history to grab double-figure rebounds off the bench in consecutive games after each recorded back-to-back games of 10 boards, first at Charlotte on February 5 and then vs. the Los Angeles Clippers on February 7. Among NBA rookie league leaders this season, Winslow finished fourth in minutes, sixth in steals (0.87), ninth in rebounds, 13th in scoring and tied for 14th in assists.
