100% with you on that. The Nets pick may be the only redeeming aspect to this trade for Cleveland, long term.

LeBron is gone.

Yeah that pick might be too much, especially if lakers one doesnt pan out. But I guess it had to be done.

If the Lakers pick isn't 2-5, then you guys get Sacramento's pick the following year instead. They'll still be in the bottom of the west, so you guys are set.

Yeah. The 2018 draft is stacked. Porter, Bagley, Ayton, Bamba, and Doncic.

So let me get this straight.

Ainge refused to give up the Brooklyn pick with Crowder for a huge upgrade in Paul George. Refused to give up the Brooklyn pick in the rumored Jimmy Butler deals.

But now, he gives up the Brooklyn pick & Crowder for a minimal upgrade over Isaiah WITH Isaiah?

Seems like the Celtics gave up too much for Kyrie...especially that pick.

I was thinking that this trade will finally help Lebrons 4th quarter chokes against the Warriors because of how dominant IT is in the 4th but then I realized Cavs might not even make it out the east now

The trade possibilities for the Cavs now are unlimited with that pick

Celtics gave up way too much. Cleveland had a disgruntled player forcing their hand and the Cavs still came out on top.
