He's going to get a monster contract next year, and the team that signs him is gonna be screwed. He'll get his huge contract and slack off. He put up 20/10 because it was only him and Caron scoring the points. I don't think anyone else put up over 12 ppg. The Wizards can not contend with a front court of Haywood + Jamison. There's not enough D.

I agree with you about $ value but seeing what players are getting I was trying to be somewhat realistic and sarcastic about Jamison an Arenas. Why wont a star take 8 million to play and live off the $50 million plus endorsement and other monies if that would allow the team to sign the depth players needed to win the Championships they all espouse to covet. Garnett and Shaq are examples of how a super-star can cripple their own chances even though Garnett does have a good chance this year. If Jamison signed 4 years for around 8 million and Arenas 5 years for around 12 million the team could bring in good depth to go with the three stars and no player would have to 'take food off their family's table' like poor Latrell Sprewell.
