Default Allan Houston plans to make a possible comeback

What do you think? If he's going to help the team then I'm all for it. If it's to sit on the bench a whine like his last year then I say don't even bother.

He would still have to fulfill his contract with the Knicks, right?

I think his contract with the Knicks ends this year.

well as long as no one gives him a massive contract and he can still shoot, I don't see how any team can give up a 6'6" marksman of his caliber.

If he still has that 50% outside shooting touch, and we ran pick and roll plays similar to what Indiana did for Reggie Miller, he'd be an allstar again.

I believe he can be really extremely effective coming from the bench, but maybe he will be looking for a title contender, but yes i would love to see him coming from the knicks bench.

I honestly can't see why he would come back to the Knicks. He probably realizes that he can maybe get one good year out of those knees. I could see him going to a team like Houston and being an excellent fit. Houston has a somewhat legitimate shot at least of making it into the conference finals.

Dump it into Yao let them double, kick it out to Houston for the Smooth J. Plus there is the Van Gundy connection there.

He would be a solid marksman off the bench, and in case numerous injuries occur, he would be very helpful(for example.......now!) However, I don't really like it when players of the past try to make a comeback, it hurts their reputation.

Yea Allan Houston is one of my favorite players too. If his knees are healthy he can give the Knicks a legitiamte outside threat with Q Rich questionable for next year, Im all for it. I do this his contract ends at the end of this season and I just hope if he were to come back it would not be a huge multi million dollar contract
