Default Switch lebron and Durant with each other, does the outcome of the finals change?

Put lebron okc and Durant on heat does the result change?

OKC wins in 4. This should be the common answer.

well considering that the heat beat okc with mainly huge games by role players...

yea the heat probably still win... guys like chalmers, miller, battier having 25 point nights... wtf lol

plus the whole big 3 of durant/wade/bosh would be better than lebron harden and choker westbrook fouling guys when he shouldnt lol

durant was money in the finals. and both are almost the same rank ( #1 and #2 arnt seperated by that much )... so i think bosh lebron and durant are a wash

Durant played well. He was great on offense and meh (if not a little below average, especially when guarding Lebron) About a B+.

Lebron was an A+. Nice offense, good defense.

As for specifics of what would happen in this hypothetical:

I don't see who on Miami would be able to guard Lebron as well as Sefalosha did. Battier is definitely way too slow. And Durant couldn't guard Lebron.

On the other hand, OKC would then have Lebron and Sefalosha to guard Durant.

But, Durant would be amazing on Miami as he'd gave Wade the spacing he desperately needs. So, I'm sure Wade would have played a little better...maybe even a lot better.

I'd say OKC in 7.

Well Harden would still play like garbage and the Heat role players wouldn't be getting the open looks off of James double teams anymore so idk it's a good question. Probably OKC

Durant averaged 31 a game in the Finals on 65 TS% while being guarded by LeBron and Battier

LeBron averaged 28 a game in the Finals on 57 TS% while being guarded by Sefalosha and Harden, 2 SG's, as Durant was getting called for ridiculous touch fouls.

You switch the 2 and Miami likely sweeps. Westbrook and Harden would be useless with LeBron as they would never have the ball in their hands, and both are ball dominant players.

Wade would go back to his primary role pre LeBron and Miami would be better with Durant instead of James. This is pretty easy to see tbh

LeBron is the better fit, but Durant is the better fit on Miami or OKC

LOL. Yup, lets just list the one thing Durant does better and ignore the boards and facilitation Lebron brings to the table.

I wonder who'd be getting all the boards for Miami if they had no Lebron. Joel Anthony or Juwan Howard?... its your call. LOL.

And i also wonder who Miami's facilitator would be...Mario Chalmers?

And LOL at saying Durant was getting called for touch fouls. He played very foolishly and deserved basically all of the fouls he got. He showed us that he was still a 23 year old when he had 4 fouls in that one game and got his fifth foul early in the fourth quarter on a stupid reach in when he had no chance to get the rebound/steal.

The series didn't come down to the LeBron/Durant matchup. OKC's role players didn't show up, and the third member of their big three was MIA. Not only did all of Miami's big three have multiple good games, but they had at least one role player step up and have a big game each night.

When you propose this hypothetical then you have to figure out if you think the role players on each team would've played the same. If Harden plays up to his usual standards, and then in each game at least one of Ibaka, Collison, Sefolosha, Fisher, or Cook step-up, then the series more than likely goes 6 or 7 games, and OKC may have won. OKC got that in the WCF but didn't in the Finals.

Does Lebron still get that bullshit no call foul in game 2, when he hacked Durant?

If he does, Heat in 5. If he doesn't, Heat in 4.

Heats might win it, considering their defense was on another level. Harden couldn't even score sh17.

i really dont understand people saying lebron won the heat this series... chalmers, battier and miller each had a game where they dropped like 25 points on 70% fg's LOL
