Since talks about Kobe and the state of his team heated up again I'd like to see who would trade for Kobe now if it was a possibility. I would trade Gordon, Nocioni, Duhon, Sweetney and this years first round pick for Kobe, Turiaf and a future second round pick. Maybe we'd be able to get this years 2nd round pick from L.A. (40).

P.S. If he does stay with the Lakers until the end of the 08-09 season, I really think Kobe may sign with us after showing a lot of interest in the Bulls in 04' before resigning with the Lakers. This time around he should sign with us because the team will look even more appealing than it looks now and also what better way to revive some of the M.J. legacy than to come play as the starting SG for the Bulls.

Only Gordon and instead of Deng I would trade Nocioni and Duhon. Kirk Hinrich, Luol Deng, Tyrus Thomas and Ben Wallace are untouchable.

only kobe and wallace will be sucking up 36 millions. I think bulls might have to give up wallace. by keeping wallace will make things harder in the future with Deng's extension and later on TT as well. And I know Paxson knows more than all of us together. Pax, I have confidence in you.

or you can give up
pj brown 9million
gordon 4million
nocioni 4million
+ #9 pick and next yrs 1st rounder

for
kobe 18 million

then in 2 years you can maybe try and move wallaces expiring contract and resign deng and thomas.

PJ Brown and Noce has an expiring contract. Theres no way they will sign PJ for 9mill again. Trading BigBen might not be a good idea because they wont have any big man left unless they also get kwame and turiaf. I also dont think BigBen will aprove such trade

thats right! Ben Wallace knows Kobe in Chicago and him can win a championship. Does Ben Wallace have a "no trade" clause?

I would touch Big Ben too, don't forget you have to match up KB salary and Lakers need a good center and a defensive factor.
