Default Signing Marbury

How do you guys feel about this possibility?

In the likely case NY waive him, do you think we should go after Marbury?

Strangely, my gut says yes. I actually think he would excel with our current running players, as long as he lowered the shot count. Plus I think he would find happiness in the beaches of Miami, and we have the veteran staff to control him somewhat.

I would like it, but I think he's more likely to try and steal a championship ring if you know what I mean.

From previous interviews both last offseason and this summer, he says he wants to play overseas in 2010. So I think its more likely for his last year in an NBA uniform that he's going to try and steal a roster spot on a championship contender for minimum (ie: all the rumors involved in joining Boston).

If he signs for the min cool, & if he starts acting stupid we just cut him. Simple as that.

Heat should be out there to try and get him. The Heat have a good team now without a pg and Steph should be way more better than Quinn.

If he's motivated and plays his heart out he'll be a good signing for the team. Though he's a chemistry killer.

Whats the worst that can happen? He acts like a jerk, & we cut him. Not a big risk.

Now that we have signed Livingston, do we really need marbury anymore?

I say no.

Great player with a bad attitude. Not sure if Miami is the place for that guy. He is in his home town and done nothing to help NY

We don't need him but a good player when he wants to be
