Richard Hamilton Officially Announces Retirement

To answer those handful of "What ever happened to Richard Hamilton?" questions I've seen pop up here or there over the past few seasons - apparently he was still technically active, but a foot injury in October officially pushed him out. An unceremonious exit, but a ballplayer certainly worth being remembered.

He was just kind of in basketball purgatory. Not quite retired but for an intents and purposes, retired. He was apparently going to try to pick up with a squad this year before his foot injury took him down.
