Field dimensions
The field is one of the notoriously hitter-friendly parks in baseball, due to the high temperatures, relatively short fences, and the design of the stadium which has allowed the area's high winds to swirl and lift balls that wouldn't normally make it out. In truth, the park would give up even more home runs if not for the office building in center and the field being 22 feet (6.7 m) below street level.

found that in wiki...never knew of that wind thing...but it does state that the fences are short...I assume they mean close in and not just short.

not sure how that compares in the majors...but from what I was always told, right feild was brought in for Palmero...

maybe that was all BS rumor or somthing, but I know I am not that only one that is under that impression
what makes it deep are the alleys, which is why having a good center and left fielder are so important to us.

^^^ smallest field in MLB

^^^ largest field in MLB

^^^ the BallPark

I guess it falls somewhere in the middle, or it is actually small...I was told that right center bull pen area was there cause that is where Palmero always hit the ball...
