A player being All-Star Game MVP, the league's best defensive player, league MVP and Most Valuable Player of the NBA Finals has already been done. All the awards didn't yet exist at the time, but that doesn't affect the fact that a player has been all that in the same season before.

Hakeem won MVP, DPOY & FMVP in 1994 averaging 27.3PPG 11.9RPG 3.6APG 1.6SPG 3.7BPG on .528 shooting. This became 26.9PPG 9.1 RPG 3.6APG 1.6SPG 3.9BPG on .500 shooting against Patrick Ewing in the Finals. Who cares about ASGMVP if you dominate like that?
It's regular season, it's like saying Peyton Manning is the best QB of all time.
Meh. Marino is the best QB of all time and he has 0 rings and was on in 1 Super Bowl.
Ring counting is stupid for NBA players but its nothing compared to how much of a retard you would have to be to use ring counting as your basis for who you think is a good football player.
