Default Prediction: Westbrook Career Decline Starts This Season

-FG% goes under 40%
-Already an atrocious defender. Could see it getting worse
-Relies 100% on athletic ability, will injure himself compensating for lack of KD. won't be a pretty decline.
-Least clutch superstar in the league already. Could put up historically terrible clutch shooting numbers in the 4th quarter now that he is on his own.

If I am OKC, I trade him to the highest bidder and don't look back. This guy is fool's gold. No team will ever win anything with this moron as the 1st option. And don't say he could be a second option, because this guy is so stupid and stubborn he feels he should take every shot. Despite being an atrocious shooter that doesn't have a clutch bone in his body. Biggest fraud in the NBA and it isn't even close.

WD is a better player than KD. His career is going to be on the rise now, with possible triple double seasons and definite MVP's.

I often hate your posts, but we are in complete agreement here, brother.

Although Westbrook will average sick PPG numbers this season, since he will set a league record in FG attempts if he stays healthy.

He will be perfect for them once he blows out his knee.

Nah, don't think so. Westbrook is a better playoff performer than KD and it showed, even when KD had a great MVP season in 2014. And in their hardest fought wins, like on the road against the 2 best teams last season, it was Westbrook manning up. Games 2 and 5 in San Antonio and Game 1 against the Warriors.

Westbrook will have a great season and he will get OKC into the playoffs. KD will be protected so he'll be fine. But I'm not sure averaging 27-8-8 is a decline, but I suppose it might be coming from the last 2 seasons.

Westbrook > KD

It's already well documented that you're a moron who pulls shit out of his ass, flings it at a wall, and posts whatever sticks.

But, please, humor me. What are you basing "already an atrocious defender" and "least clutch superstar in the league already" on? What evidence other than your own basied bullshit opinion do you have to backup those claims? I'm especially curious about your answer for "least clutch superstar in the league". I can at least semi-understand the point about his defense because Westbrook isn't a good defender since he gambles too often, but he's not "atrocious" either.

I would never want it to happen, but I could totally see this.

Flies into the lane trying to will his team to win on a night where no one else is hitting shots, and there goes a knee.

It's going to happen. Only a matter of time. It's going to be a Steve Francis-Esque decline. It's in OKC's best interest to trade this overrated turd before he blows out his knee, and is coming off the bench for the Bejing Ducks.

LeBron has been playing at a high level athletically since 2003. And even as his athleticism has declined, his play hasn't dropped off. I doubt Westbrook would be able to maintain his play. And I don't put a lot of weight in your comparison because LeBron is one of the smartest players ever on an NBA court. And RW is one of the dumbest of all-time. Makes Derrick Rose look like John Stockton. Just a supremely low-IQ, overrated NBA player.

Would be shocked if it didn't happen this season. SHOCKED. He is one knee injury away from being a D-Leaguer. The guy doesn't have the skills to compensate for losing athleticism. Can't shoot, ATROCIOUS DEFENDER, no ability in the clutch (teams beg him to takeover), and an NBA IQ lower than his shoe size. Most overrated player in the league by a mile. It's not even close either.
