Kobe can't win without Shaq.

After Kyrie and the Celtics beat the Cavs, I can guarantee that it will be:

Hayward is a top 5 SF (I'm a HUGE fan of Hayward)
Brad Stevens is a top 5 coach in NBA history.
Horford is a top 3 PF
etc....
etc....
Whoa, pump the brakes, chico........ Kyrie wants it to be about the team, remember??? So never, EVER say "Kyrie and the Celtics"... it's just "the Celtics"

The whole team...... is the leader and best player, on the Celtics.

Never said he'll be the first option.
Kobe wasn't the first option in the triangle offense 2008-2011.

It was Pau and Bynum and Kobe was a facilitator most of the game and scored in bunches.

Pay attention.

wait wait wait...so you admit now that even when Shaq left, Kobe still played 2nd fiddle in the 2008-2010 run? then want to tell us how Gasol didnt deserve the FMVP and how Kobe was cheated out of MVPs.

You're a special type of idiot......

Not being the first option in an offense doesn't equal 2nd fiddle.

You seriously can't believe this and I could easily break that dumbass logic.

unless Brad's gameplan is to run the offense through Hayward, I see his production reducing compared to his Utah role -- not to mention, having to through Horford in the mix too.

we all know Kyrie is hands-down going to be the 1st option

There are plenty of shots to go around. I fully expect Hayward to average more shots than he did on the Jazz. Even if he was the best player, the Jazz played really slow and ran the most team oriented offense in the league. He should take 16-18 shots this upcoming season.

It's not about 1 on 1 or individual match-ups, it's about team vs. team. It's about how we all play together as a team

Kyrie Irving

I fully expect him to take 16-18 this season.

no one is saying he'll launch 30 shots (even though we can certainly see him doing so), however Kyrie is the star (borderline superstar) on the team and is expected to be the leader.

Kyrie is the one who's touted he's needing to perfecting his craft, and as a title winning star, will be looked on to lead the Celtics - whether the game plan calls for it or not. is that fair, no, but that is how this works in the NBA

to think Hayward, or even Morris , will be anything beyond the 2nd option player for the Celtics is just an attempt at fathoming the left-field thought.

Kyrie will be the leading scorer, but he's not the best player on the team. As I've said before, I guarantee Hayward has a more positive overall impact on the team. He'll have the higher BPM, RPM, winshares etc.

You implied that he already was. As if it was his team by saying "Kyrie and the Celtics"...

He just wants it to be about the team, right? Not about 1 individual player and the rest of his teammates.

so Kyrie is going to be the 2nd best player on a team to where the 1st best player is merely half of what he just asked to be traded from in Lebron?

if Kyrie felt slighted in Cleveland behind Lebron, imagine the drilling he'll get in coming up as the 2nd best on the Celtics - though he still scores a lot
