Roberson couldn't score on Bilbo Baggins.

Also OKC is far from elite.

If OKC can somehow beat GSW, they can surely beat CLE.

It would take a significant injury to Durant and another player for OKC to have a chance against the GSW.

But I think OKC could give the Cavs a run for their money at full strength...
Westbrook would be such a terror for the Cavs' defense to handle...
Thank god we got Crowder now, but it won't solve the multitude of defensive issues...

Westbrook, Paul George and melo?? Thats elite offensive talent anyway you slice it. Their role players are more defensive but that's why melos a good add. They counteract his lack of D, he still gets to play with a ton of space (way more than new York) on offense.

It'd be a good matchup. I'd give LeGOAT the edge in a playoff series, but OKC probably finishes higher in the standings.

Melo is done and he's a ballstopper. They'd have been much better off adding, say, Jae Crowder or Otto Porter

In this hypothetical, is Isaiah playing at a high level? 3/4 of what he did last year? 1/2? Not at all?

Either way, I like the Thunder over the Cavs in a close series. As of now.

Who knows how OKC gels though and if they are able to mesh.

You mean who wins between SA & CLE cuz Kawhi is shutting down Melo & George at the same time.

Thunder.

Russ would absolutely destroy Thomas and any of the guards the Cavs could throw at him.

Add in PG/Roberson/Patterson defending Lebron and Lebron being forced to guard Melo on defense at times and he'll wear down throughout the series.

I was thinking of the Cavs at full strength.

So let's say IT recovers well and his hip won't affect his play by April.
