First of all, the OP did include some statlines which had more than just points even though that stat was his primary focus.
Secondly, it is possible that the newspaper archives from 30 years ago which he searched probably did not reveal all of the stats from every game.

If the titles drj won in the Aba were counted, how many would he have in total?

Counting the ABA he has 3 championships and 4 MVPs. If you count his ABA career, he goes from #55 on the all time career points list to #5.

Hunh. I thought people around here judge players by how many points they score.

we all know scoring isnt all, and if you really read my thread, I'm not just comparing points they scored, there're some other data, rbs stl block, but not every game has full stats as it's from 30 years ago, so I simply couldn't find all the data, as for the bold of scoring, it's easier for people to catch some info because the thread is long
BTW, it's much easier to point finger than apreciate other's work

Perhaps you should have directed this toward ProfessorMurder and Pushxx. You know... the people who actually said you were only comparing points. I don't know what you quoted me for.

Dr J was one of the most underrated defensive players. He was a monster Shot Blocker for a SF: one of the best chase down blockers righ there with Russell, Hakeem, Barkley and Lebron.
He also lead the ABA in Defensive Rating as a SF (Pippen is the Only One to Do So in the NBA for a season and Twice in the Play-Offs)
