Default big trade.

The Blazers and Grizzlies are discussing a trade that would send Mike Conley, Hakim Warrick and Javaris Crittenton to the Blazers for Travis Outlaw and Sergio Rodriguez, according to Yahoo! Sports.
The teams could trade Conley for Outlaw straight up, but the other players are thought to be included in the possible deal. Conley and Rodriguez would both likely see a boost in value if they are traded, but Outlaw would probably stay in a reserve role behind Rudy Gay in Memphis (although there's a chance he could also start at PF). No deal is imminent, but talks are said to be "serious."

I love this deal. I'm pretty much fed up with Conley's inconsistency. Rodriguez is a pass first type of guard and can shoot the three ball which we need. I think I would like Outlaw to come off the bench rather than starting if we do get him. We need his scoring off of the bench.

Sergio/Lowry
Mayo/Ross
Gay/Outlaw
Milicic/Arthur
Gasol

I don't like the idea of trading Warrick for two reasons.....

1. It leaves us very thin in the front court, we'd only have Gasol, Darko and Arthur.
2. Darko will be playing around 30 minutes if we traded away Warrick.
3. Gay and/or Outlaw would have to play some 4.

So I guess we'd have to go after a big guy in the draft, considering there's only about 3-4 decent big guys in the '09 draft, I'm not too confident.

No one out there right now. We should just wait and try to get a young big via the draft like Harangody, Griffin, Thabeet, Mullens or maybe Hansbrough. Hopefully we get Sergio, if not we may need to go after a point guard.

Sergio Rodriguez would be in favor of this trade as he'll be reunited with Marc Gasol, and will be getting more playing time.

This trade will also solve the PG problem in Memphis.

Both team wins IMO.

Hey there's always Toine.

He could play some back-up at the four in limited minutes.

God no. I wouldn't put him in even if we had absolutely no one else.
