Default Memphis' PG situation

Sup my Memphis fans,

New to this forum, I usually troll my Knicks thread, that said I just have a quick question. I see you fellas now have Conley, Crittendon, and Lowry at PG. (I'm jealous). Any talk out of Memphis of the Griz shopping around Lowry? If so whats the rumored asking price?

Thanks in Advance,

MikeRo

Who's been saying they're shopping Lowry around? I hope they're not, I like him more than Conley or Crittendon, although Crittendon seems like a nice long PG for the Grizzlies at this stage. With that being said, however, I think Lowry will be the first one to go. Don't think the price on him is too high right now, any mid first-round pick from the last few seasons might be able to bring him to your team assuming the player Memphis is getting back has a bit of potential to do something now and later.

I know the Knicks have said that they're now looking for their PG of the future after the 'Marbury era'. Personally, I don't see Memphis trading him for anyone on the Knicks right now though, so don't get your hope up too soon.

Wallace said that they will keep only two of them. When is the decission going to be made? No idea. But the three of them are really valuable, so Memphis should ask for something good in return.

It was on the espn trading blosk conversation. Miller and lowry are on the block. Wallace wants three first round picks next year.

As per ESPN NBA Rumors section:

Griz Shopping Lowry
Kyle Lowry | Grizzlies
A league source confirmed last night that the Grizzlies were shopping Kyle Lowry, and that the Sixers were one of the teams they had called. The source said it would be surprising, however, if anything materialized with the Sixers.
"It's a situation I don't think about," Lowry said. "My job is to play basketball, and I can't worry about trade talks and rumors. All I can do is play hard." -- The Philadelphia Inquirer

Oh, there is a God. Memphis can get the worse players in the league in this deal, I don't care, as long as Cardinal is gone. But then again we already have Kwame and Collins, there can't be much worse talent left.

Kwame will be gone at the end of the season, and Collins have just one year left, so if they can get rid of Cardinal, there could be a light at the end of the tunnel.

This doesn't look so bad now. But, it still leaves us in a bit of mess.

This morning I was watching this 5 minute segment that comes on in the morning when Mike and Mike in the Morning takes commerical breaks called NBA 411 and Chris Broussard was talking about how most of the players in Memphis prefer Kyle Lowry over Mike Conley as the starter.

I prefer Lowry as the starter. I wasn't onboard at first, but it's definitly working for us, so I say keep doing it. Also, Conley has been playing better coming off the bench, so I guess this was a good switch around for these guys.

It dosent really matter either way. Because were losing with both of them starting. We need a good vetran point guard(not francis) and a good post player.
