Well they didn't' mortgage their future. If you don't think Felton, Gallo, and Flton can't be replaced, you are greatly mistaken. Now the Knicks have a future. But... they probably could have gotten Melo anyway. I think it was a risk that I would have taken.

i thought Gallo, Felton, and Mozgov had more years left. My bad.

Regardless, I still feel NY gave up too much for Melo. They completely caved into all of Denver's commands.

I guess Melo was worth. As good as he is, I think he's somewhat overrated. Best of luck to the Knicks, and their fans. I hope this works out well. The NBA needs the Knicks to become contenders again. I just hope this doesn't mean Isaiah Thomas will weasel his way back into the organization.

It's called building a team. Something the Heat recently did. I wonder why it is so many people here think gallo and felton were impact players? Chandler was pretty inconsistent all season. And Mozgov needs more time to work on his game. Proud of the Knicks for this.

they have the same bench they have had all season....walker, williams, and douglas. Plus whatever players they use from Denver. IMO there bench got better.

They just need to find a starting Center. which is crucial

Yeah you make good points except Williams is now probably going to start so they are basically -1 in depth. Bench is crucial if you wanna win though and they look liked they are going to only rotate 8 players.

Edit: Welll they got Brewer now so that will help.
