1) Michael Jordan 6'6" - His Dad was no more than 5'10" and his mum was around 5'5" in height.

2) Jeremy Lin 6'3" - His mum and dad both stand at 5'6".

3) Wilt Chamberlain 7'1" - Wilt's dad, William Chamberlain, was only 5'8" tall. His mum, Olivia Ruth Johnson, stood at 5'9" tall.

4) Moses Malone 6'10" - had a dad who was only 5'6" in height. His mum surprisingly also stood at a mere 5'2".

5) Gheorghe Dumitru Mureșan 7'7" - His dad is only 5'9" tall and his mum is 5'7".

Wilts mom wasnt exactly short. A 5'9'' woman in the 1930s would have looked like a giant next to other women. And his mom had a 7 foot grandfather supposedly. And Wilts little brother was like 6'5''. They had height in the family.

some of you need to study genetics. just because the mom and dad aren't tall doesn't mean the kids can't be. as long as it's in the family, it can be expressed.
