Arrow Delfino - still eager to re-sign him?

i'm not so sure anymore...

at the beginning of the year he was a pretty big part of our success... but lately? he hasn't been doing nearly as well.

he's probably going to want MLE $$$... do we give it to him?

I haven't been eager to re-sign him for a while.

He's a chucker, poor defender, extremely inconsistant.

I'd only bring him back if we trade Kapono and it would have to be 3 Million or under.

I'd give him Humphries-like money and nothing more. He's an ok bench player but that's it. Hardly a priority in the offseason.

Id take him over Kapono, he's been a big disapointment. If Delfino would accept 2-3 mil, then id keep him for our second unit. He is one of the few players we have who'll take the ball strong to the hoop from the SF position.

Just a thought.....
Jamario would be an All star if someone would just kick him in the Nuts before each game and piss him off.

I wouldn't mind either way if we sign Delfino or not, just as long as it isn't for too much money.

As for Jamario, I agree, it angers me sometimes when he doesn't drive the ball.

well if we are to resign Jose, we can't resign both delfino and moon unless moon take a slight raise and delfino takes a huge cut.

Either way I think next year we can draft a decent 1st rd, lots of decent players out there, and knowing BC I believe.

Think we have a team option for Moon next season at chump change.

We hold an option on Moon for next season at league minimum.

So this was actually collective baraging for UFA rookies or its just something that both party agrees upon the terms of the contract?

I say let Delfino walk. We need to stop spending money on marginal players to make us 11 deep instead of the necessary 8 deep (of quality). It eats up future cap space for little benefit.

id sya resign him, as long as its ot more than $5 mill per season, hes only inconsistant becuase of the inconsistant minutes he gets, he is at the least a 6th man on tis team, take parker out were going to need someone to shot 3s and play defense

So why would we sign Delfino then?

He's a poor shooter and a poor defender.

Naw..think the Raps should move in a different direction ..Delfino is serviceable player but isn't worth $$$ he's going to demand..especally on a team like the Raps where there's already a large amount of players of his ilk.

If we could move Kapono , then I'd be more interested in re-signing him.

re-sign him = no.

Poor shooter, really erratic player. Kapono should ease into that spot next year.
