The problem is Kapono doesn't have that kind of value. He's probably close to being a negative value but not quite there yet because his contract is "only" $5.5 million. Dumping him for a 2nd rounder and a shorter contract is probably the best the Raptors can do.

What Colangelo taught me with the Hunp for Araujo trae is there is always someone willing to giv a guy a second chance ...especially somone who has a shooting stroke. We'll eventually getfair value for him 5.5 is the midlevel nothing too bad. /he just needs a better situation and to be a set shooter. It'll come maybe not with the Celts for Allen but another team on the verge that needs a shooter before the dealine.

Obviously the best thing would be to get what Philly got for Korver. A 1st rounder and an expiring Giricek? Was that it?

But if nothing else is out there and it doesn't look like there will be, I'd be fine with this deal.

To be honest I'd even be happy with Bill Walker and filler plus first...it just has to be a wing considering we have the holes there...we've got too many big guys now with Jawai, Voskhul, Bosh, Bargs, JO and Humps.
