Default Memories of the Vlade, Peja, Webber Kings

That was the most fun team in the league.

Sorta related: I wonder if Rick Adelman can do similar things with the current Rockets. They'll never be fun like those Kings were, but still, maybe Yao Ming starts firing behind the back (and intelligent) passes

That team was one of the greatest teams ever assembled. Maybe not talent wise but the way the team played and how the pieces with together was something for the ages.

The Rockets having the same success would depend on having good passers in the high post. Yao is no where near a good a passer as Divac, Webber, or even Brad Miller. Having a big man who could pass was an intrical part of the offense.

However, the Rockets do have the clutch shooter in T-Mac in the way the Kings had Bibby.

They have the do-it-all defender like Christie in Battier.

One of the most important parts of that Kings team was the bench: Hedo, Jim Jackson, B-Jax, Keon Clark, and Scott Pollard. The Rockets have some interesting pieces on the bench like Francis, Wells, James and Dikembe but it remains to be seen how well they can work together.
