Well Sanchez will have another year to prove he is an NFL caliber QB. The Gm better get some Olineman and some weapons and safeties and a pass rush.

Just an FYI Drew Brees didnt hit his stride until his 4th year.

yeah, the year after the chargers were ready to give up on him and drafted rivers. than all of a sudden brees has a monster season. maybe sanchez needs some motivation and has to worry about his job security. he has no worries right now with mark brunell as his backup

That's total BS... These past couple of years Sanchez has had plenty of targets, one of the best O-lines(not this year), a good running game, a great Defense, etc.. It's just this year when Sanchez is expected to produce and pick up for the lack of production in other areas that his true ability is starting to show.

He's not a very good NFL qb, he's a game manager at best. He's timid, a turnover machine, lacks confidence, weak arm, etc.. I can see Seattle picking him up and maybe Carroll does something with him.

Yes this is why the Jets went to 2 AFC championship games. This season the Oline, Running game, weapons, and defense has been terrible. So the Jets didnt win.

Mark Sanchez should be the defensive MVP this year.

No the defense has been average to good, the running game was average and the O-line did struggle at times but the key thing is that Sanchez hasn't improved and gave the same production as last year which was below average so therefore you have an average team...

If Sanchez would have had a good year the Jets easily make the playoffs, the team would have improved.

If he did that may have helped. But to expect a 3rd year QB on a flawed team to carry it isnt really fair. He is still a part not the main cog.

Has anyone in that draft class been to the superbowl yet or further than Sanchez?

I do admit I dont think he is the QB of the future but I wont blame him solely on how this team did. It still falls to TannemBUM and Rex.
