More like waiting to get fouled out quick.

Uhh game 5 against OKC. He attacked the basket several times. 18-33. 42 points.

Kobe doesn't have a fake as close to as good as Dwyane Wade lol? Wade learned that sh*t from Kobe. Get real. Want proof. Lakers/Heat game in March. :35 second mark

Yea Wade's single coverage on Kobe worked so well that they had to end up putting Battier on Kobe right?

WOW

I PRAY they do just that!

Doubling Kobe is the worst possible plan you could have.

Basically every single shot vs the heat was a jump shot and a lot of them were difficult shots defended well. I'll take those shots 1 on 1 every game. They say Kobe can shoot you into a game...well everyone knows that Kobe can definitely shoot you OUT OF A GAME as well. He was hot this game, but there is just as many days those shots don't fall and just clank off the rim and if you are the opposing team you are happy with letting him chuck up difficult jumper after jumper and ignore his teammates. Kobe does not need a double anymore.

Wow the Heat sure are scared!

Double Kobe, that means Nash will shoot wide open jumpers all day! Let's give one of the best shooters of all time a ton of wideopen shots!

Let's leave Dwight and Pau with single coverage from defensive scrubs Bosh and Joel Anthony. Brilliant decision!

Heat are phucked. Their only hope is getting Dwight and Pau into early foul trouble. If Dwight and Pau get major minutes Heat will get shitted on.

And then one of those five players (Bosh, Bron, Battier, Ray, Wade) gets in foul trouble, and the Heat are forced to go back to their traditional starting lineup, since more likely than not it will be Bosh doing the fouling.

I think the Lakers main problem is going to be the Thunder, we have to get past them before getting to the Heat.. Lets look at the matchups,

Playoff averages head2head:

Howard: 19/14/1/3 56%
Perkins: 8/8/1/2 49%

Judgement: Howard>>>>>Perkins. Perkins CANNOT guard Howard, he beats him in every single aspect of the game.

Gasol: 15/11/3/1 50%
Ibaka: 8/6/0/3 51%

Judgement: Pau>>>Ibaka. Ibaka can't defend Gasol, though he leaves him behind his point averages make no mistake that Gasol gets his shots off and clearly outrebounds him.

Durant: 26/8/3/1 42%
Artest 9/3/2 36%

Durant>>>>Artest/ There's no way around it, Durant is the clear winner. The problem is that Artest does exactly what his job is, he keeps him at a low 42% fg.

Bryant: 27/4/4 42%
Sefolosha: 4/1/2 34%

Kobe>>>>Sefolosha. Very similar to the matchup with Artest/Durant, Kobe is the clear better player, but Sefolosha defends him very well. If any one wants to argue how good Brryant is defended by the Thunder, they have to look at Durant and see that he's guarded by us just as good.

From these stats, its easy to say that Bryant/Artest>Sefo/Durant.

Regular season averages:

Nash: 13/3/9 54%
Westbrook: 20/5/8 47%

Westbrook>Nash, but its very close. These two never met in the playoffs, but by the looks of the regular season Westbrook is obviously the better scorer but Nash doesn't let him score any time he wants. Nash has way better fg% and out assists him.

Starting 5 matchups show the Lakers have a pretty good advantage, but the obvious difference maker will be the benches.

It doesn't work like that. That's the most simplistic way to assess who would come out on top between two teams.

I agree. But I'm only giving my judgement of individual match-ups between each player based on head-to-head averages. I'm not saying who will be the better team in any way.
