So not only comparing a 200 years difference in human society development but also the parallel similarity of the killings and the motive of violence itself. Nice!

the middle east unfortunately does not have the same "human society development" as the west. They didn't have a declaration of independence, french revolution, 1848 revolution etc.
Their has been violent supression of demonstrations in the history of almost every country.

We don't deserve any of this.

And back in the day practicing witchcraft would get you hanged, heroin was in cough syrup and adultery would get you stoned

The "it use to be acceptable in the past" is nothing more than a pathetic copout excuse to justify actions of the present

Technological and communication advances have improved vastly in ALL regions of the world. Hence why the Bible itself has been updated hundreds of times to uncondoned the fact that it use to approve the raping of women and other outrageous beliefs.

Regardless of their culture morals, killing an innocent human being is never acceptable because "it once was the norm". If that was the case then we'd still be hanging people on a cross over practicing religion

I don't get your point. No one is justifying the regime's brutal actions. But what you did was denying a country's right of existance due to a violent regime.

Either way, society in the Arab world has not advanced as far as in Europe/US; hence you can't compare the unrests to any demonstration that would take place in the US or Europe. And that's not a (political) justification of those regime's actions, but a (scientific) analysis of the respective situations.
