    Default Godzilla 1998 >>> Godzilla 2014

I aint normally a fan a old schoo ish but I thought the action an overall movie of Godzilla 98 was more impressive than the new ish they jus put out. That new fatass zilla is just way to slow and wtf is with hardly eva seeinhim? I paid top dolla to see a big iguanigga tear a city up and he was hardly in the movie at all, I liked the original sleek streamline zilla WAY better, the helicopter chase scne >>> any scene in 2014 movie they shoulda stuck with the old design instead a up an change the recipe

I don't think you're trolling either. That movie was utter garbage.

acting was bad in both movies but yeah prob a bit worse in the original cause the romancing scenes were rough but you aint tryna watch a zilla movie to ssee that its the action that counts and the action in 98 was >> 14, much faster paced. Its backwards thinking but the 98 zilla was actually more athletic than the 14 zilla thats what did it for me i think, 98 zilla could run and jump and ish, 14 zilla was fat flabby n sick lookin by comparison i dont kno why they did it that way but they did, its counter intutitive to evolution i cant stand that

There was literally nothing good about the 98 movie. It is universally seen as an abomination for a reason.

    I feel old.

98 Zilla was awesome, but only because of how hilariously bad it was.

Haven't seen the new one yet.

But it was just an oversized T-Rex with Zilla back spikes.

Longer arms and a different head, but otherwise it was. You can see it in all the movements. Just because there is a statue of it standing in a way you'll never see a T-Rex does not mean it is not the same general design. And regardless, the movie was completely unfaithful to Godzilla.

Original creators disowned the 98 Godzilla, even going so far as to rename it "Zilla" because it is so much of a deviation from the classic Godzilla look. Not only was it small and agile, but it lacked any of the powers that Godzilla normally has. The new Godzilla is the largest Godzilla to date, and is more like the classic 1954 original. But OP wouldn't know shit about that. He's probably 15 and remembers the '98 Godzilla movie and only that movie.

I always liked '98 Godzilla (mainly because I don't give a **** about the original Godzilla mythos). Gonna see the new one later today, but from what I've heard about it so far, I doubt it will top the '98 in my book.

Why would a 15 year old be super into a bad movie from 1998? Would make more sense if he were a 24 year old who saw it new at the age of 8 and views it as nostalgic.
