Roomate advice

I'll be a freshman next fall and I have the option of having a suit my first year with individual rooms, just 1 per room, sounds perfect except I'll be a freshman rooming with sophomores. It's either this, or be stuck in a 1 room situation with 3 or 4 freshman in it, which would you go for?

single person hands down. nothing wrong with having sophmores nearby. might actually be beneficial as a freshman. but yeah. go solo.

if i were you i'd go with roommates, you get to make some real friends and have fun. Not having someone come home at 3am hammered could get really boring.

as long as you are socially competent, go with the single room. Trust me. After three years in college, I can't emphasize this enough: Get a single. Don't worry any problems with "making friends", since you WILL as long as you aren't incredibly weird.

A quad will SUCK, trust me. It is enough having to deal with one roommate either walking in drunk at 4am, f&cking his girlfriend with you in the room, and/or playing WoW/not showering for a week straight. Now imagine that with 3 roommates. It's a lot more sh&t to deal with, and the probability of all 4 of you getting along very well is exceedingly low.
