I really hope Minny drafts Towns

and not because I'm a Laker fan and want Okafor.

I love seeing young cores develop together and I love it when there's some sort of synergy between them. I was genuinely sad when the Pels traded Nerlens for Jrue because I thought Nerlens and AD would be such a great pairing.

With Wiggins and Towns, Minnesota has the makings of an athletic, defensive minded team that will be able to grind it out and win. This is something small market teams are more likely to do than larger market teams.

Also, KG has more to offer as a mentor to Towns than to Okafor. Okafor won't be able to do the things KG is accustomed to being able to do.

Towns just makes more sense to me for Minny than Okafor. KG would be a great mentor to Towns and Wiggins/Towns seem like they could both develop into defensive anchors eventually which would be huge for Minny.

Imagine Memphis, but Tony Allen actually being an offensive threat.
