Our resident mascot, superfan Clipper Darrell, is the most loyal Clip fan.
Sat near the guy when I had 1/2 season tickets during the 2000 Hip to
Clip season with D Miles. Q Rich and Odumb. The guy is a true fan,

LA does have some great NBA fans and they attend Clipper games.
They are knowledgeable and loud at the same time. We appreciate
the game and our team. Clipper Darrell epitomizes the fan at the game.
Too bad last nights game was not on TNT because besides Darrell
and celebs, you would have seen the Mark Cuban fan club and
the KAveman crazies.
when i first moved to los angeles in 1985, i used to buy tix to their games at the sports arena because the lakers tix at the time were too expensive thru the scalpers
i loved it
the few fans that were around were loud; we could wander down really close to the game and the ushers wouldnt care. those days are long gone for getting near courtside for $8; but the fans remain great!!

Darrell is a great fan but The Clippers had The all time greatest fan back in The 90's and early 2000's. He was an old man that sported a Clippers baby blue warm-up suit that cheered for The Clippers and attended every single Clipper home game since their arrival in San Diego. He use to come to The Sports Arena all the way from San Diego. I can't remember his name but if any old school Clipper fans can please comment back. I will commend Darrel on one thing. I love to hear his chant when the Clippers are playing away games. Don't get me wrong I love the fact that Darrell is such a great fan it's just this Team has so much more history to it than just the last couple of seasons. I'm just trying to enlighten all you new Clipper fans. I also love it when Darrell escorts opposing fans sporting opposing jerseys out of our Arena with a "Get Outa Here!" it's great to see him do that at the games. Check out my small Clipper vehicle modification.

Were you at the Miami game today? I was there, Darrell is pretty intense, got nothing but love for people that dedicated to their team.
Too bad he couldn't win the audience over Tito in the dance contest. I really wanted Darrell to win just because it was darrell but honestly that Tito guy tore it up.

Yup he did, kind of sad how everyone was booeing the black girl, and that guy that attempted the layup, freethrow, and 3 pointer was absolutely terrible, looked like a girl was shooting.

haha yeah thats how i became a clips fan. grew up a lakers fan because of my parents, but in high school (mid-90's) i couldnt afford the laker tickets so me and a few friends started attending clipps games at the arena for $10. once youre there you realize that clippers fans are true basketball fans, and the clippers team is the epitomy of basketball, without the commercial hype the lakers swam in. it would be hard not becoming a clipper fan in if you went to one game during the sports arena days.
its good to see a lot more clippers fans out there, but now its hard to find those old skool fans i used to see a lot at the arena.
The Houston game, Darrell yelled out 'That's Bull$hit'! when the refs made a horrible call. How many other fans can do that? I mean I was sitting all the way in the concourse and I clearly heard him. Darrell > ALL
That guy is a TOOL and an ATTENTION WH0RE. I know a few Clippers seson ticket holders and they can't stand him. I've also heard that he smells because he never washes his damn suit that he wears game in and game out. I'd kick his arse if he yelled where I was sitting....especially if I paid top $$$.

Why all the hate? He has made quite a name for himself with his fan spirit. I'm a season ticket holder and I sit in a section that is surrounded by season ticket holders and everybody loves Darrell's spirit. I think the Season ticket holders you are talking to are in the minority.

Wow, for every one of you Darrell haters, there are 1,000 fans. How the hell is he a tool and attention whore? For being the biggest fan ever? For being a dedicated and passionate fan?
