Default If this is true...what are we waiting for?

Morey claims the Knicks, unless they make either rookies Jordan Hill or Toney Douglas available in a package with Larry Hughes, will not get McGrady."

Jared Jeffries (2 years 6.4m)
Larry Hughes (1 year 13.6m)
Jordan Hill (2 year 2.4m)

FOR

Tracy McGrady (1 year 23m)

We clear up around 9 million for this summer. Morey gets both players that he wants and Jeffries is there just to fill out the deal. The Rockets have said they are the one team who are willing to take back salary in a deal.

If what Morey said is true then what's with the hesitation on getting this deal done?

**** that trade.. We are not trading 2 1st rounders just for a aging T-Mac.. We are giving up our future. We have done this numerous this past decades, same mistakes all over again. I can't believe at some of the talent we could of gotten but instead we trade for aging, overrated players. Example we could of had Amare or Nene but instead we got Antonio McDyess, Eddy Curry we traded what 3 1st round picks? I don't even want to think on the players we could of drafted... We do not trade our young players for T-mac. How many players would we have on the roster next season as well? These are the type of moves we have made over and over again. Eddy Curry and Isiah Thomas sent this team in chaos and we need to fix it.

How are we giving up our future if we clear cap space?

We move Jared Jeffries. Do you want to wait for Jordan Hill to develop OR do you want to improve your chances of landing LeBron James + some money to sign another big named Free Agent or keep david lee.

Your chocie. I don't see us getting LeBron by showing what we got. We have to show him what we can get to come with him if we truly want to get him. If that means moving Jordan Hill, guess what, see ya in Houston.

Of course were not going to make the play-offs this year making this deal, but who cares? Even if we miracoulusly get the 8th seed this year we are going to lose in the first round....TO Lebrons Cav's, it looks like. Why would we want to scare him off like that?

Move J.J. Have more money. Go hard for LeBron + another big named free agent. Forget Jordan Hill. We win next year.

No one is coming to the Knicks without some talent around them... thats the reality and the Jkidd situation speaks volumes of what could be a grim reality for Knick's fans.

If the Knicks had draft picks this year and cap space we could probably make a case for a big splash.
