Default Is Godbe one of the most like-able superstar in NBA history?s

He's got to be one of them, how can you not like such a crowd-pleasing hard playing, hard working fiery competitor? He's like this era's Jerry West/Elgin Baylor all tied into one.

The NBA will be have a huge void to fill the day he retires

He's incredibly polarizing. I wouldn't call him likeable.

Even now, at the end of his career, he still draws significant positive and negative attention from his stans and haters, respectively. I can understand how the qualities you listed could be appealing but there's a negative aspect to his image as well; selfish, arrogant, chucker, etc. He also rapes.

I respect Kobe as a player largely for the positive qualities that you listed but his image is far from immaculate.

In a league of conniving untrustworthy superstars like:

Chris Paul
James Harden
Blake Griffin
Dwyane Wade

I think a guy who just appears to play the game with passion, intensity and hard work like Kobe Bryant is a breath of fresh air.

how weird do you feel right now leaving LeBron off that list, though? You wanted to put him on there.. you know you did.

Hmmm well for some reason I interpret what others would call selfish as passionate. I mean, Jordan played with that edge too. Russell Westbrook right now plays with that edge he's probably the next closest player to Kobe heading into the next generation of players.
