All that shows is how much some people hate Melo. NeNe routinely is out of shape. In fact, my boy who works with the Wizards had to spend extra time with him on his conditioning. So if your statement is true, it really only shows theres a bias.

Maybe it has something to do with him only having one testicle.

We know the Knicks going forward will be over the cap, and barring a trade involving two of our guys, most additions would be vet minimum signings.

Quality rarely comes at that low price.

Yea if you're looking for starters. But if you're looking for bench pieces, you can still get guys with vet min contracts.

Throw a few out there that you feel would come here for the vet min, given our current salary structure.

We do have the BAE of $1.9 Million per year for 2 seasons.

Hopefully we use it this offseason.

2 words: Al Thornton

I've already played that card. Theyre not going to go for it. Prepare to hear "he's obviously not good because if he was h'd be in the leauge" about 90 times.

Seriously though, Al would sign for the minimum.

Exactly. He's humbled himself from early on in his career, so now he has to fight the perceptions he created about his personality.

You can book him for at least 10 points off the bench.

Dude is down there conquering Puerto Rico's basketball league.

I mean we've gambled successfully on 2 offseasons with fringe NBA players in Shawne Williams & Steve Novak. I think Thornton would appreciate this opportunity.

We said shit like that about JR, and he's basically been at best useless and at worst a disaster.

I could conquer Puerto Rico's league. It's an island for ****'s sake.

For the vet minimum, it would be no issue, if he don't work out, cut him.

But yes, there's a reason why he isn't in the league.

I disagree about JR totally. Although he made some bone headed plays but he isnt a PG and he is a volume shooter. I loved the fact that he played defense (took to many risk, compromising risk with steals when there was no help).

Considering Chandler, Jared, Shump, Jr were the only guys that played solid to good defense nightly I appreciated the effort.

I look forward to this as well. I gave you the list already so its just plug in play basically with your rationale.

JR has been useless? I beg to differ. Does he make stupid plays at times? Absolutely...he has arguably the lowest "basketball IQ" ever. That said, to say he's been useless is to say either A. I'm a hater or B. I haven't watched Knicks basketball in a while.

To whoever mentioned Lin as a 6th Man from page....I like your idea. Obvious if we can get a high caliber PG in replacement.
