Getting a banger is the need they should adress most. Gasol can play the 4 or 5 and need a rebounder under there to help Gasol out. Swift should be traded once his recent trade restriction is up. Rumors are that Magloire and Boozer are the guys that they might trade for. Boozer would be excellent if they are willing to give up Mike Miller and Stromile Swift. I agree, Miller is always a dud in the playoffs, but was very good filling the sixth man role, hints why he won the award. Eddie Jones is still a starter and should be kept. He is a good defender and gives veteran leadership. His huge contract will expire after this season as well, which is the main reason to keep him. Swift and throw in could be traded to land Magloire, from what I hear. Roberts is progressing very well and can back up both underneath spots. Warrick is not a small forward, for the columnist who said that. He is a power forward in a small forward's body, due to the way he plays. Jerry West has done an excellent job with this team, ecspecially this off season. He will have some cap room to spend next year if he keeps Eddie Jones. Here is their lineup if they acquire Boozer from Utah. They should also make a pitch to sign Rasual Butler to be their shooter, if they trade Mike Miller.
SF- Gay, Butler
PF- Boozer, Warrick, Cardinal
C- Gasol, Roberts, Tsakalidis
PG- Stoudemire, Lowry
SG- E. Jones, D. Jones
