Who came closest to winning MVP unanimously?
I don't think there was any player that won MVP unanimously... were there any that were close?
I know LeBron came close in 2013, and Shaq in 2000 came short of one first place vote.
Do you think Curry can win MVP unanimously if he keeps this up, and the Warriors win 72+? Or will there always be that one media member that likes to be different from everyone else?

There is always 1 voter who screws things up with his hate or homerism.

Why so serious?
Re: Who came closest to winning MVP unanimously?
If they beat the bulls record and Steph continues to play like this it will be unanimous, for sure. But those are tough feats to accomplish, so someone else is sure to get votes. With the star power in the league as high as it is today, this would be one of the greatest feats in NBA history to go unanimous at this point.

No because some local writer will want to make a name for himself and vote something stupid. Like the NY writer that voted Melo 2 years ago.
If you troll you should have your voting privileges revoked.

Re: Who came closest to winning MVP unanimously?
Lebron was actually 1 vote off it in 2013
Only GOAT tier players like LBJ/Shaq/MJ do this

Re: Who came closest to winning MVP unanimously?
Shaq in 2000 was off 1 vote, LeBron in 2013 was off 1 vote...
KG in 2004 was off 3 votes.

In '13 some idiot from a Boston newspaper voted Carmelo first.
