Yo, need some advice for subs in my car
Who can give it to me? I don't want anything big maybe some 12s. What's the best brand, best place to buy for a good price, stuff like that

My advice is save your money on things more important. Like an actual real girlfriend you might have one day.

Less than a year ago he couldn't even afford paying for Ballstreams.

Only inferior because you can't get it.

It depends on what kind of car you are driving. If you are driving a POS then you don't want a loud system. That would bring attention to you.
What do you drive and is it worth it to spend more money on a clunker.

You want loud or a clean system?
Loud- JL Audio woofers with some old Fosgate amps.
Clean- one Boston Acoustics woofer 10 or 12 would do with some MB Quartz for mids and highs. This pretty much would be a high end system. Probably the best in your entire school.

Re: Yo, need some advice for subs in my car
Do yourself a favor and spend the extra coin getting a good setup. Most people, especially when they are young will go for a cheap setup that slaps. It's loud, makes shit rattle and makes bass. No more no less. To the average person with a stock stereo and no sub, it will sound nice. To anyone used to a decent sound system, it will sound like shit. I'm not talking super high end, just something better than the usual $300 package deals you find at a lot of these places.
Also, don't convince yourself you need two 12's, especially if you can't afford a sufficient amp to power both. So many people want nothing less than two 12's and cheap out on the amp, then they just take up all that extra space for nothing.
I liked JL and Alpine products. First sub I bought was an Alpine Type R. Bought it in high school, lasted through 4 cars over 10 years. I got a new setup, but that sub still works perfectly fine.
