I still don't see Gasol as a HOF type of player though. He just doesn't seem like that type of player to me...

Miami is an incredibly balanced team on offense and defense. Miami is 2nd in the NBA for FG% on offense and they are 2nd in the NBA for FG% against on defense.

Wade will totally own Kobe on both sides of the ball if they meet. No one takes kobe's space away better than Wade and Wade has been blowing by kobe for years:

LeBron >>>>>> Artest

Bosh has played very well against Gasol over the last 3 seasons as Gasol has problems with the combination of quickness and good length (which Bosh has in spades).

Haslem can help contain Odom as he has played well against him in the past - remember they both played for the Heat and know each other well. And before anyone says that Odom brings other things besides points, remember that Haslem is 7th in rebounding rate for all PF's in the NBA. And he is a great hustle player too. He is good on defense and is Top 5 over the past 2 years for drawing charges.

Bynum will get fouled out (or on the bench) when the two best drivers in the league, LeBron and Wade, attack the paint more than they do during the regular season ( the big 3 are getting to the line 25 times per game in the regular season and you can expect that to be in the 30-35 range per game in the playoffs).

Bynum had 4 fouls with 8 minutes left in the 3rd quarter in the last game and the Heat weren't even trying to get at him. lol.

Spoelstra has always prepared well against the Triangle offense as a coach. ALWAYS. Say what you want about Spoestra, but the man knows how to coach defense and really knows how to defend the triangle.

The Lakers and Heat bench are close for overall productivity, both benches are ranked next to each other. So the Lakers don't have an advantage there.

The Heat have a huge advantage with team speed, and the backcourt of Chalmers/Wade/LeBron is way too quick for the Lakers backcourt. And that backcourt speed will have even a larger disparity when Kobe and Fisher's old legs have been through 3 playoff series before the Finals.

The Heat have the quick inside people to move quickly to the top of the key on pick n rolls. You need that against the Lakers.

The Lakers are a great rebounding team but the Heat are not the Celtics. The Heat are the 7th rebounding team in the league (not a big advantage for the lakers)

It's Wade >> Kobe and Kobe teams have always had great difficulty against LeBron led teams.

And finally, against the lakers you must shoot well outside the paint. The Heat are 2nd in the NBA for FG% outside the paint.

The Heat are a nightmare matchup for the Lakers. The Lakers would be much better off facing the Celtics or bulls in the finals.

How cute

Funny how these fans have to learn the hard way.

Miami aren't even getting out of round two, nevermind beating L.A.

Miami are not winning 3 straight series on the road, too many flaws in a series.

I think they will make the ECF and if they don't face the C's they could make it to the finals. Heat win in 7 games vs the Bulls.
The C's will sweep the Heat tho if they face in the ECF.

Things get personal when its KG vs Bosh. The weak frontcourt and weak PG play is their biggest weakness.

Regardless LA takes it in 6 if they face the Heat.

Playoff Kobe>Wade
Motivated Gasol>>>> Bostrich
Bynum>>>>> Howard+Anthony+Dampier
