I've seen every game this series so far. WCF too, real good ball being played by all 4 teams left.

I never got why some people stop watching when their team gets eliminated. It's like they don't love the game, only a team or a player.

Truth be told, once the Suns were cheated out of the Playoffs the ratings have dropped.

What a moronic statement. Any of the Phoenix Suns games during these playoffs have had HIGHER ratings than any Cavs game. Get a clue chump.

You know what, I think that the Cavs and the Pistons may be evenly matched.. They won almost the same amount of games this year... Also, I don't think that the Pistons are as good without Wallace.

While the Cavs swept the Spurs this year, that really doesn't mean anything because well it was before the All Star Break when things jelled. I mean the Bulls I think swept the Pistons this year as well, and look what happened in the playoffs.!!!!!!

The Ratings are not only dropping because Nash, Wade, Shaq, and Kobe are out, but its also because...

1) The Casual fan was turned off with the Handling of the whole Horry thing and will view this years Champ in a tainted way...

2) Spurs, Cavs, Pistons, and Jazz have never really drove the ratings up, infact the casual fan thinks these teams are just flat out boring to watch...

and...

3) We the Casual fan are fed up with Stern shoving LeBron down our throats, dude is not really all that fun to watch yet all we hear is how we should praise him because he puts up "Numbers" that no one else has put up in the last 3 years.

I continue to watch the current playoff games but catch myself flipping the channel to cooler things like "The Real World/Road Rules Challenge" and "American Idol".

Like i said its about more than ratings. Parents who don't even watch basketball know about LeBron, old people, young people, people in other cities, non NBA fans all over the world.

Go to those same people and say "did you see the Suns game last night?" and they'll all say no. The Suns got better ratings because they were involved in better matchups. But as far as worldwide interest among EVERYONE goes, LeBron has more interest.

I don't necessarily think that will happen. Yes the Cavs swept the Spurs, but well that was before the all star break.. San Antonio has been playing incredible ball since the all star break.

Besides, reading article about those wins, the Cavs were all totally excited we beat the Spurs how many times, one player was all like, I've never been on a team that's beaten the spurs that many times straight... I think the Cavs quite frankly wanted those games more than the Spurs did...And I think they have shown in this post season, that they have the tendency to get well a bit bored.
But come time for that Championship finals, and San Antonio has never lost in the NBA finals, I think that the Cavs may be a bit in over the heads.

And I guess youre trying to sell to us that "Interest" DOES NOT EQUAL "Ratings"

The Suns vs. Lakers had nothing to do with it being a "Better Matchup" yet you are telling us that it pulled better ratings than these series because there is no interest in these teams

Just because LeBron is more popular than the Suns doesnt mean that he generates more interest, if that were the case than he would pull everybody near a T.V. set to watch him play.

I dunno its a Cavs fan vs. a Suns fan...no way for an unbiased opinion. We'd need outside opinions from other fans to decide i guess. And no Poseidon doesn't count lol
