zombie mod is the only thing great about source.

1.6 is ancient to all you guys? Anybody else play before then? My freshman year of college i played nothing but 1.5 w/ WC3 mod. Does anybody know if you can still even PLAY 1.5 anywhere-- or if WC3 mods exist for 1.6/source?

you can play WC3 for 1.6 and source. And you can probably find a free download for 1.5, http://www.soft32.com/Download/Free/.../4-2542-1.html
or just google it, not sure why you wanna play 1.5 though



BTW, CS source is 10x better than 1.6. Better graphics, more realistic, not as much hackers, gameplay.....

Haha, this is so classic, CS was so freaking huge in Sweden, we all were crazy about CS and I had friends who played like 5-7 hours per day while going to school, haha..

It's one of the best games ever. We won a tournament back in High school.

Best multiplayer FPS i ever played, i started with CS as soon as it came out even with the beta mod late 1998 somewhere, no game robbed so much time of my life, in 2001-02 i went "pro" for a while (CPL Berlin in 2001 for example, we and everybody else were raped by the legendary Ninjas in Pyjamas), i played until about 2003-04, just simply played to much, got bored......... then came Battlfield 1942, Battlefield 2 and resolved that boredom issue :)

This is one of the best online combat game in the early part of this decade, and if some of you have free time maybe we can actually start a tournament here in Insidehoops.

I think you can download the updated version, and the graphics is much better right now.

really easy to play. kids back then starts with this(before playing other pc games), we rent those pc for 15 peso per hour, playing like there's no tomorrow. esp on lan, people will throw every insult known to man. lol
Getting killed w/ a knife = sh!ting your pants in classroom.

kids these days play special force though.
