I give both films 75/100.

It's amazing how many times Harry Potter should have died in these movies if it wasn't for his friends saving his ass.

Yeah, I remember think when reading the books that Rowling could have at least made him slightly competent. Hermoine is about to end up the female Dumbledore when she grows up.

Yep, she's the most knowledgeable and resourceful. The real hero, IMO.
Potter only possessed the power, but he wasn't as resourceful or intelligent as Tom Riddle or Hermione.

Maybe it's some feminist statement from Rowling that Harry is the brave fool and Hermoine is the silent hero.

I have a question.
So Dumbledore had the Wonder Wand this whole time correct?

Is that the only reason he was able to have a stalemate with Lord V. in The Order of Phoenix?

Remember they fought but V. couldn't do anything to him.

And I agree, I like Hermoine. She's a good actress (unlike Potter) and very cute. I find it amusing how she has such low self esteem when it comes to guys in the movies and everyone treats her like an ugly duckling.

Because it's fun, has good action and usually doesn't take itself too seriously. You wouldn't see the protagonist's partner called 'Pussy Galore' in any other film.

The newer movies are darker, but they're still a lot of fun to watch.

Watch Casino Royale and maybe you'll understand why they're so popular. If you don't like that, then you're stoopid.

Honestly no clue about that question. It's been a very long time since I read/watched anything Harry Potter related. But I think he stalemated Voldemort because they were equals (or at least very close).

Interesting, because in DH Part I, Voldemort was searching for the Wonder Wand (because it's said to be the most powerful wand in the world). And some guy told him it was with Dumbledore in his grave.

I think that is why Dumby was able to fight off The Lord; because he had the most powerful wand in the world in his hands.

The way I look at it, if Dumby was as strong as Lord V.; then there wouldn't be such a big fuss about his return. They know Dumby could protect them.

I'm going to research that, I'm curious now.

Make sure you're checking stuff from the books if you're researching anything to do with the series. I don't count the movies as canon, they took way too many liberties with the series.

dumbledore is only one person and voldemort and his followers are willing to use dark magic.

I think if neither had the elder wand they would have stalemated, and if voldemort had it he would have won.

Spectre - 2/10

One of the worst movies I've ever seen.
