I'm currently 13-24 (6th in NL Central) w/ the Astros. We're hitting .210 as a team, but our pitching (3.85) ERA has kept our W-L record somewhat respectable. I play every game.

    Congrats.

I got no-hit by R.A. Dickey over the weekend. I can't hit the knuckleball to save my life in this game.

When I face Dickey, I use the "Guess The Pitch" feature and always guess the Knuckle Ball, when it tells me I guessed right before the Pitch is thrown, I just lay off of it, because most of the time it's a Ball. When the count get's to 2-0 he'll throw an 86 mph Fastball and I crushed it most of the time.

He was throwing the knuckleball for strikes.

101 games into my first season on Franchise mode with the Pirates:

My record is 70-31 - I've won 27 games in a row (No joke) and I've played every game.

    My Pitching staff is:

    Rick Porcello - 13-4, 2.23 ERA
    Brad Lincoln - 11-2, 1.50 ERA
    Scott Kazmir - 9-4, 2.86 ERA
    Brandon Morrow - 7-6, 4.65 ERA

    Lineup:

    1. Andrew Mccutchen (CF), .289, 7 HR, 47 RBI's
    2. Magglio Ordonez (LF), .275, 9 HR, 49 RBI's
    3. Tony Sanchez (C), .305, 23 HR, 42 RBI's (was in minors first 40 games of year).
    4. Pedro Alvarez (3B), .240, 20 HR, 59 RBI's
    5. Neil Walker (2B), .259, 15 HR, 57 RBI's

    7. Troy Glaus (1B), .267, 23 HR, 57 RBI's
    8. Ronny Cedeno (SS), .265, 12 HR, 25 RBI's

Jose Tabata broke his ankle and is out for the rest of the year so i traded for Maggglio Ordonez.

    Love this game so much.

Downloaded the Top 100 Prospects Roster and started a new franchise with the Padres, my Line up is ridiculous:

    2B - Orlando Hudson
    SS - Manny Machado
    C - Jesus Montero
    RF - Kyle Blanks
    3B - Pedro Alvarez
    1B - Derek Norris
    CF - Cameron Maybin
    LF - Pat Burrell

    Rotation:

    Mat Latos
    Rich Harden
    Casey Kelly
    Jarrod Parker
    Dellin Betances / Tyson Ross

Made tons of trades, got Montero and Betances for Heath Bell and Aaron Harang and made some other ridiculous trades that would never happen except in a video game. But man, this game is awesome. Don't think I've played another game in months.

Also started a new RTTS as a First Baseman for the Indians, then got traded to the Rays, about to make my ML debut.

just got mlb 11 the show, i really enjoyed mlb 10 the show but i was tired of playing with outdated rosters. just started franchise mode with the dodgers.

do you guys use the analog for hitting and pitching? i've heard bad things about it and i've become so accustomed to the controls from 10 that i'm pretty hesitant to try.
