Default Yi is stuck up.

Common man, suck it up. you're in the NBA, 6th pick, gonna make millions of dollars, and that is not enough? Suck it up and play where your drafted like everyone else. Just because you're treated well in China doesn't mean that you're god's gift here. Earn it like everyone else. Tough times are good for you, it forces you to grow. You got some talent kid, but ffs, grow some balls.

By most accounts it's his agent (which was chosen by the CBA not him) that is causing the hold up. I actually feel bad for the kid, since he seems to just want to play ball.

not everyone plays where they're drafted. BTW Kareem hated Milwaukee too.

You realize China had to ALLOW him to play in the NBA. That should tell you a little bit about how much control he really has over the situation (not saying that he truly wants to play for Milwaukee or not).

Everybody just needs to pop some E and get off Yi's nuts. The kid just wants to hoop. His agents are the ones making a fuss about him playing in a city with a bigger Asian population. When it comes down to it, Yi will be suiting up for the Bucks.

The article on ESPN today says that these demands aren't just from his agent; Yi means them himself.

For once I want a team to stand strong and refuse to fall victom to a rookies trade demands. He didnt have to enter the draft this year, if he didnt want to play for any NBA team he shouldnt have entered. Its silly for the NBA to be pushed around by a rookie (or agent/country). Just because the olympic are being held in Beijing doesnt mean the Chinese government can dictate who a player is going to play for in an American league.

1 for 5 FGs in the last game, and 0 for 5 in the game before that with 3 whopping points. dude's getting shut out on the floor, shooting 25% while averaging 7 fouls and 5 turnovers. practically all his scoring are from free throws. dude's game is soft, and he should have nothing to be stuck up about. he's embarrassing himself off the court, and apparently, he's embarrassing himself on the court as well.

Well if Yi wants to come to Sacramento and the Kings are dieing to get rid of Artest then it seems a trade can be worked out there.
