Default Rashard Lewis favors Heat, Cavs, 'Cats?

Quote:
To land Lewis, the Magic will be competing against some of the greatest marquee recruiters in NBA history: Shaq, D-Wade, LeBron and some guy named M.J.

According to those close to the situation, the Miami Heat, fueled by the star power of Shaquille O'Neal and Dwyane Wade; the Cleveland Cavaliers, led by LeBron James; and the Charlotte Bobcats, directed by managing member of basketball operations Michael Jordan, are the leading candidates wooing Lewis.

The Magic might have received an assist from their old coach, Doc Rivers.

Doc's Celtics traded out of the first round and acquired Lewis' running mate, Ray Allen, from the Sonics. With Kevin Durant now the face of the Seattle franchise and the Sonics on training wheels, Lewis has every reason to search for his star bucks in Orlando.

IF we can only get rid of Larry Hughes fat contract we might have a huge chance to sign Lewis. The cavs really donít have any pieces the Sonics would be interested in other than Gooden and maybe Hughes. And that will probably happen if the Sonics will agree in a sign and trade deal . The problem with Miami is the only player that they can trade for Lewis is Udonis Haslem and one of their old reliables Walker and Williams but the Sonics might not be interested because they are on a rebuilding progress in the West if only that the Heat and Cavs do have another younger player they can deal that would satisfy doing a sign and trade with the Sonics.

but... landing him in Orlando makes him the 1st option... unlike the other teams... (maybe Bobcats... but they have J-Rich and a fruitful scoring squad)... Orlando is also pretty much a playoff team... so i like the chances of seeing Lewis in a Magic uniform next season...

whats the Magic's lineup exactly...I think they could do a little damage next year...Especially if Howard gets more touches

and if he actually improves his offensive game and doesnt rely on offensive rebounding or a guard to drive and get him an easy bucket 90% of the time.

Lewis goes for the money, and Orlando has a good chance. I wouldn't rule out him staying in Seattle or traded (S&T) to a contender (imagine him in Miami or Dallas).

He shouldn't go to the Cats. Then we would have three starting quality SF's and only one legit big man. Makes no sense.

Playing with Lebron, it is highly possible that he would be the first option in many of the games based on the way that Lebron starts off most games looking to involve his teammates. We all get up in arms thinking of Lebron as a second fiddle player but the Cavs would have a better chance at a ring if they can pair Lebron up with someone that is capable of a 40 point outburst. I would rather see Lebron average a triple double than to be a 35+ scorer....

how dangerous do u guys think shard can be in the east?
he can present matchup problems for some teams I think some teams will have trouble matching up with a 6'10 SF here. Tell you the truth though I've not seen much of shard because of him playing in Seattle so I don't trully know how dangerous he actualy can be. However when I look at most east teams i don't see a defensive stopper who can match up with him.
